The Panduit R100X150V8T is a roll of yellow thermal transfer label material for printing 1 x 1.50 inch Turn-Tell labels for marking cable or wire. These labels have a 0.50" blank printable area and will fit wire with an outside diameter of 0.22 to 0.28 inches or #10 to #6 American Wire Gauge (AWG). They will accommodate Category 5e/6/6A UTP cable and Category 5e FTP cable. The label material is vinyl, which resists oil, has low moisture absorption, and is non-conductive. The labels have a pressure sensitive adhesive backing, are self-laminating, and can rotate on the cable for visibility at any angle or easy repositioning. This allows the labels to be installed on terminated wires or cables without disconnecting. The labels have a temperature range of -40 to +200 degrees F. This roll of 2,500 labels is compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive and is suitable for use with Panduit's Easy-Mark labeling software and desktop thermal transfer printers.
Thermal transfer (TT) labels come in sheets, rolls, or cassettes with an adhesive backing and a surface material die-cut into individual shapes for use in thermal transfer printers. As the label passes through the printer, a thermal printhead melts a coating of wax or resin from the ink ribbon onto the label where it is then absorbed. This printing method is typically used in manufacturing for in-house printing of bar codes and alphanumeric identification, price tags, warning labels, and other specialty print jobs.
