The Panduit C400X200YMT is a roll of silver label material for printing 4 x 2 inch adhesive labels using thermal transfer printers. The surface material is polyester, which is moisture and vapor resistant and unaffected by oils, greases, and volatile aromatics. It has an acrylic-based, pressure sensitive, permanent adhesive backing, and the labels are rated for indoor or outdoor use. It has a surface temperature range of -40 to +302 degrees F. This roll of 1,000 labels is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Recognized and compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive and is suitable for use with Panduit's TDP43MY and TDP42HY thermal transfer desktop printers.

Thermal transfer (TT) labels come in sheets, rolls, or cassettes with an adhesive backing and a surface material die-cut into individual shapes for use in thermal transfer printers. As the label passes through the printer, a thermal printhead melts a coating of wax or resin from the ink ribbon onto the label where it is then absorbed. This printing method is typically used in manufacturing for in-house printing of bar codes and alphanumeric identification, price tags, warning labels, and other specialty print jobs.
