Manufacturer Description

The Oakton 35426-60 Temp 360 RTD Thermistor is a handheld, data logging thermometer that has Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) for accuracy, stability, and a wide temperature range. Thermistor thermometers provide temperature measurements, exhibit greater sensitivity in the biological range (32 to 212 degrees F), and are commonly used in quality control (QC) laboratories, education and research lab testing environments that require Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) data logging analysis.

This portable meter provides temperature measurements in degrees C or F, and has data logging up to 2,000 points with time and date stamp for advanced data analysis. It features temperature offset calibration adjustment for fine-tuning factory calibration. The meter has selection of degrees C or F scale that displays the highest or lowest temperature from when the meter is first switched on. Alternatively, a minimum/maximum/average mode can continuously update the lowest and highest temperature. It has menu-driven setup and operation with a hold function, low battery indicator, and auto-off function that shuts the meter off after 17 minutes of nonuse for prolonged battery life. The meter has a large, four-digit, backlit LED display. It has a built-in, real-time clock with time and date stamping that meets Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards. It has USB output, and works with standard bayonet connectors. The meter is Ingress Protection (IP) 54-rated, for protection against solid objects or liquids, and it has a built-in stand.

This thermometer range is -330 to 2210 degrees F (-201 to 1210 degrees C), resolution from -330.0 to -100 degrees F/C: 0.1 degrees F/degrees C, from -99.99 to 99.99 degrees F/C: 0.01 degrees F/degrees C, from 100.0 to 99.9 degrees F/degrees C: 0.1 degrees F/degrees C, above 1000 degrees F/degrees C: 1 degree F/degrees C. Accuracy from -330.0 to -100 degrees F/C: + or - 0.1 degrees F/degrees C, from -99.99 to 99.99 degrees F/degrees C: + or - 0.06 degrees F/+ or - 0.03 dgerees C, from 100.0 to 999.9 degrees F/degrees C: + or - 0.1 degree F/degree C, above 1000 degrees F/degrees C: + or - 1 degree F/degree C. The meter’s dimensions are 4(l) x 2(w) x 7(h) inches, and it weighs 0.75 lb. The meter is used with three 1.5 V AA batteries (not included) for approximately 400 hours of continuous use without backlighting, or is used with an optional AC adapter (not included). It works with 400-series thermistor probes (not included).

Thermometers are used to measure temperature for various applications such as education, general purpose QC labs and research lab testing, and for biological process monitoring.
